Description
Svenska: Undsättningsexpeditionen framme i Visby. Under bombplansvingen stå flygplansbesättningarna uppställda framför flottiljchefen överstelöjtnant Schyberg I förgrunden några av de värdefulla karbidfaten.
Kungl. Södermanlands flygflottilj med sin chef, överstelöjtnant Birger Schyberg i spetsen, bevisade på fredagen flygvapnets allmäna användbarhet även för fredliga bragder genom två programenligt genomförda överflygningar med cirka tio ton karbid och läkemedel till det infrusna Gotland. På måndagen kommer flottiljen även att försöka förse de isolerade fyrbesättningarna på Sandön och Karlsö med proviant, som troligen skall nedkastas med fallskärm.
