Todos los embriones se limpian (ver Materiales y métodos ) y se especifica lo contrario. Todos los embriones tienen una orientación similar: anterior en la parte superior izquierda y dorsal en la parte superior derecha de cada panel.
C) Juvenil eclosionado orientado con la dorsal hacia el espectador. La punta de flecha blanca indica la posición del collar donde el dominio de expresión bmp2/4 sigue el recorrido ectodérmico sumergido del cordón dorsal.

D) Sección de un juvenil similar a la (C). Dorsal está en la parte superior del panel. Observe el dominio bmp sumergido, teñido de púrpura.
