Description
Lietuvių: Inžinierius Kęstutis Bulota (1898-1941/42) - žymus Lietuvos sportininkas, organizatorius bei visuomeninis veikėjas, suprojektavęs (kartu su S. Dariumi) pirmąjį Lietuvos stadioną Kaune, dviračių sporto, futbolo, greitojo čiuožimo, krepšinio, ledo ritulio ir kitų sporto šakų pradininkas Lietuvoje. Sovietų Sąjungai okupavus Lietuvą, 1941 m. suimtas išvežtas į Gulagą ir sušaudytas.
English: Engineer Kęstutis Bulota (1898-1941/42) - Lithuanian multi-sport athlete, the first Lithuanian representative in Winter Olympics 1928 (speed scating). He was the Lithuanian champion in multiple sports, including holding national records in racewalking, the triple jump, and relay sprinting. After Soviet Russia occied Lithuania, K. Bulota was arrested in 1941, sent to Gulag and shot dead during his attempt to escape.
