Description

The lighthouse at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is back dropped against the setting sun. Established in 1848, the 151-foot lighthouse was first lit in 1868. After being retired in 1993, a restoration project took place between 1995 and 1996. Photo credit: NASA/Ben Smegelsky
