Summary[edit]

Description
English: A large obsidian core from Tel Kabri. Believed to have been imported from Anatolia by members of the Wadi Rabah culture. Found before the 1957–1958 Tel Kabri excavations by Moshe Prausnitz of the Israel Department of Antiquities and Museums.

As of June 2015, this obsidian core is housed in the Samuel and Saidye Bronfman Archaeology Wing of the Israel Museum among other Neolithic artefacts.
