Kalbeliya Performer

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Kalbeliya Dance is a traditional folk dance that originated from the Kalbeliya tribe of Rajasthan, India. This dance form is known for its fluid and graceful movements, and it is performed by women wearing traditional black swirling skirts with silver embroidery and jewelry. The dancers move in a circular formation, bending and swaying their bodies, while their dresses create a mesmerizing visual effect. They also perform intricate footwork, clapping, and snapping their fingers in rhythm to the music, which is usually played on the traditional instruments like the dholak, khartaal, and the been.
