Description
Nederlands: De Theologische Universiteit Kampen is het instituut dat op 6 december 1854 te Kampen werd geopend als Theologische School van de Christelijke (Afgescheiden) Gereformeerde Kerk, die in 1892 overging in de Gereformeerde Kerken in Nederland. In 1939 werd de officiële naam Theologische Hoogeschool. Eind 1987 werd het de Theologische Universiteit Kampen. Een voorloper van het gebouw aan de Oudestraat, een woonhuis met grote tuin, werd sinds 1860 gebruikt als een deel van de theologische opleiding; het gebouw werd in 1869, 1879 en 1894 uitgebreid en, in 1923-1924 aan de hoek Muntplein-Hofstraat nieuw opgetrokken.
