This a Kannada inscription, The inscription found in Nilasandra village is the basis for the history of this village, but it also the onlyinscription found in Kunigal taluk, of the Ballala III period.The inscription refers to Kunigal Dakshina Varanasi which is supposed to be a very rare inscriptionrecording the donation of the paddy field of Neelasandra village to the Satvis of Haruvehalli.
