Description
Deutsch: m ehemaligen Kapitelsaal aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ist eine Sammlung von Skulpturen und Entwürfen des aus Südtirol stammenden Stiftsbildhauers Johann Worath zu sehen. Er wirkte von 1640 -1680 in Schlägl und arbeitete für das Stift und für die Stiftspfarren. Arbeiten von ihm finden sich auch in Böhmen (u. a. in Friedberg, Krumau und Prachatitz). Sein Meisterwerk ist die Pieta, die um 1642 entstanden sein dürfte.
