Polski: Żyłka (województwo lubelskie). Kaplica pod wezwaniem Najświętszej Maryi Panny Częstochowskiej w miejscu, w którym w czasie II wojny światowej, 2 października 1942 roku, Niemcy rozstrzelali 7 mieszkańców wioski. Okupanci niemieccy zamordowali siedmiu mieszkańców Żyłki, oskarżając ich fałszywie o podpalenie stajni w Bełżcu. W stajni były konie niemieckiego zbrodniarza z obozu zagłady, komendanta Gottlieba Heringa. Sprawcami okazali się wachmani własowcy z obozu zagłady, w służbie niemieckiej. W Żyłce i w okolicznych miejscowościach: w Lubyczy Królewskiej, Szaleniku i Lubyczy-Kniazie, Niemcy zamordowali w akcji pacyfikacyjnej ponad 50 osób.
English: Żyłka (Lublin Voivodeship). The chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Częstochowa in the place where, during World War II, on October 2, 1942, the Germans shot 7 inhabitants of the village. German occupiers murdered seven inhabitants of Żyłka, accusing them falsely of setting the barn in Bełżec on fire. In the stable were the horses of a German criminal from the extermination camp, commandant Gottlieb Hering. The perpetrators turned out to be watchmen from the extermination camp in the German service. In Żyłka and in the neighboring towns of Lubycza Królewska, Szalenik and Lubyczy-Kniazie, the Germans murdered over 50 people in a pacification operation.
