Description
Deutsch: Blick durch eine Scheibe des Ringrenngebäudes im Park von Schloss Pillnitz. Zu sehen ist ein 2023 auf Grundlage historischer Quellen nachgebautes Karussell aus der Zeit August des Starken (1670—1733). Zur Belustigung der Dresdner Hofgesellschaft stachen die Hofdamen mit Lanzen von im Kreis umlaufenden hölzernen Pferden und Wagen nach über ihnen aufgehängten Ringen. Diese als „Ringrennen“ bezeichnete Belustigung war eine an die Ansprüche der Hofgesellschaft angepasste Form des ritterlichen Ringstechens. Nun soll dieses Vergnügen noch im Sommer 2023 von den Besuchern des Pillnitzer Lustschlosses nachvollzogen werden könnnen — vielleicht schon zum Pillnitzer Spielewochenende in der Orangerie.
