Description
Deutsch: Schloss Friedenstein, die größte frühbarocke Schlossanlage Deutschlands, ist von einer der stärksten barocken Festungsanlagen umgeben - den Kasematten. Die unter dem Park liegenden Kasemattenanlagen können auf einer ca. 300 m langen unterirdischen Tour besichtigt werden.
KUNSTPROJEKT: Der in Deutschland lebende slovenische Künstler Bogomir Ecker stellte 1992 seine Installation DIE GANZE WELT AM OHR in einem begehbaren Bereich der Gothaer Kasematten vor.
Verborgen in den spärlich erleuchteten Gängen lauern Geräusche und Stimmen auf den Besucher: Dieser kann, wie in einer archaischen Kulthöhle, Antworten suchen und Fremdartiges erforschen. In den Fugen der Tonnengewölbe befanden sich kleine Bewegungssensoren, die jeweils mit fest eingestellten elektronischen Voice-Modul und Miniaturlautsprecher auf die Bewegungen der Besucher reagieren.
