Description
English: A lot of single nuggets embedded in epoxy resin of the intermediate member between kashinite (Ir2S3) erlichmannite (OsS2) ans laurite (RuS2) in a completely analyzed specimen by SEM/EDS. From: Miass River, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russian Federation. Three extremely rare sulphides in a single sample! Some nuggets are almost pure members, and other are intermediate members like in the spectrum provided. Note.- IMA formula for kashinite don't include Rh, like this sample. Ex Vandenbroucke Museum collection from Waregem, Belgium.
