Summary[edit]

Description
English: A full-length black-and-white posed photograph of Willie Keeler fielding. Keeler, facing the camera, wears a uniform and cap. Leaning to his right, supporting his weight on his right leg, Keeler rests only the toe of his left shoe on the ground. Keeler reaches above his head with is gloved right hand, his left hand rests down by his side. Keeler looks up to his raised right hand. Captured on the field, the outfield wall can be seen in the distance. An additional copy of this photograph exists. Pasted on the reverse of the additional copy (not shown) is a newspaper clipping with the phrase, "The Tied Man: Willie Keeler." Stamped on this clipping (not shown), in red ink, is the date, "AUG 1 1978," a possible publication date.
