Description
English: Kerkmeesterskamer plaque - De Nieuwe Kerk Amsterdam The church wardens had their office here. In 1770 the original Church Warden's Room had fallen into disrepair and the church wardens wished for a new room with a modern feel. The painter Andries van der Groen received the commission to paint the room and gave it the current ambience. In the summer you can visit the room during the exhibition Journey in Time. Nederlands: Kerkmeesterskamer Hier hielden de kerkmeesters kantoor. In 1770 was de oorspronkelijke Kerkmeesterskamer ernstig in verval geraakt en eisten de kerkmeesters een nieuwe kamer met een moderne uitstraling. Schilder Andries van der Groen kreeg de opdracht voor het schilderwerk en gaf de kamer de huidige ambiance. ledere zomer kunt u de kamer bezichtigen tijdens de tentoonstelling Reis in de tijd.
