English: The famous Keshab Narayan Temple at Patan Durbar Square, a historical site in Lalitpur district. The name of this chowk is Keshav Narayan Chowk after the name of this temple. In ancient times, there was a Ratnakar Gumba on the site of this temple. In the 17th century, King Siddhinar Singh Malla handed over the Ratnakar Gumba to Hakka Bahal and erected a statue of Keshav Narayan at Keshab Narayan Chowk. This place is also called Manigal Durbar. There is also a museum in this ancient palace. To reach this temple, one has to go through the Golden Gate of Patan Durbar Square. Keshav Narayan Temple is surrounded by very attractive artistic wood carving windows and verandas. There is a golden pylon with pictures of various gods and goddesses. It also has a golden window directly above it. Which kings used to make public appearances. There are also two lions for security when entering the Golden Gate. In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple there is a very attractive black stone statue of Keshab Narayan. Devotees flock to this temple on various festival.
