Rückseite: VICTORIA / AD CHOTTUSITZ / D 17 MAII 1742 [Sieg bei Chottusitz am 17. Mai 1742]. Schlachtgetümmel, im Abschnitt dreizeilige Aufschrift.

Kommentar: Von dem Breslauer Medailleur und Stempelschneider Georg Wilhelm Kittel sind zahlreiche Medaillen mit Bezug auf die Schlesischen Kriege geschnitten worden. Sie sind schon als 'Volksmedaillen' zu bezeichnen, die ohne große künstlerischen Anspruch Friedrich II. und seine Siege verherrlichen. Die Medaillen sind nicht im königlichen Auftrag entstanden, haben aber zur Verbreitung von Friedrichs Feldherrenruhm beigetragen und den Schöpfern Lohn und Brot gebracht.
