Description
Deutsch: Klemm Kl 35 B oder D, Sch/FAR 72 (Schule des Fliegerausbildungsregiments 72) in Markersdorf b. St. Pölten ab April 1940 (war zuvor bis Nov. 1939 in Detmold (Ostwestfalen-Lippe) stationiert. Die Sch/FAR 72 wurde am 1. Okt. 1941 in FFS A/B 72 umbenannt. Im Flugzeug vorne Fw. Rombach aus Giebelstadt b. Würzburg (Bayern). Das gut erkennbare Emblem (Wappen) der Schuleinheit ist das erste Emblem der Sch/FAR 72 bzw. FFS A/B 72: Ein schräg geteiltes Wappenschild mit springendem Hasen auf weissem Grund (oben), und grünem Kleeblatt auf dunklem Grund (Farbe?), unten. Das 4-stellige Luftwaffen-Stammkennzeichen endet mit "IW", für die abgebildete Klemm Kl 35 kommen (soweit bekannt) die Kennzeichen SD + IW oder NC + IW infrage.
English: Klemm Kl 35 B or D, Sch/FAR 72 (School of the Flying Training Regiment 72) in Markersdorf near St. Pölten from April 1940 (was previously stationed in Detmold (East Westphalia-Lippe) until Nov. 1939). The Sch/FAR 72 was renamed FFS A/B 72 on 1 Oct. 1941. In the aircraft in front Fw./Sergeant Rombach from Giebelstadt near Würzburg (Bavaria). The easily recognisable emblem (coat of arms) of the school unit is the first emblem of Sch/FAR 72 or FFS A/B 72: A diagonally divided shield with a leaping hare on a white background (top), and a green cloverleaf on a dark background (colour?), below. The 4-digit Luftwaffe registration number (Stammkennzeichen) ends with "IW", for the Klemm Kl 35 shown here the registration numbers SD + IW or NC + IW are possible (as far as is known).
