| Description |
English: After sleeping in the wilderness we drove to the village of Konitsa. Konitsa is a regional centre for many small Pindos villages in the region Zagory. Even in the morning the village was quite busy: there was an open air market, there are shops, coffee bars, schools, a small military base and a hospital. The village is used by local Greek tourists as a starting point for exploring the Pindos mountains. At the end of the village, in the Aoos gorge, there is a beautiful stone bridge. While we crossed the brige, a boy with goats came from the other side. |
