Description
Srpski (latinica): Korićka jama je prirodna jama koja se nalazi u Koritima kod Bileće. Poznata je po tome što su u noći između 3. i 4. juna 1941. ustaše sačinjene od muslimana iz Kule kod Gacka na ovom mjestu izvršile pokolj srpskog stanovništva. Počinioci zločina, odnosno ustaše su tijela žrtava bacili u Korićku jamu.

Ustaše su 3. i 4. juna 1941. ubile više od 130 Srba, a tokom iskopavanja kostiju iz jame 1953, pronađeno je 180 ljudskih lobanja.

Iskopavanje ostataka žrtava je izvršeno 1953. godine, a 1966. je podignuto prvo spomen-obilježje. Povodom pedesetogodišnjice zločina 1991. na spomenik je postavljena skulptura akademskog vajara Nandora Glida iz Beograda.
