Description
Deutsch: Das Kräuterzentrum der Ricola. 8 Meter hoch, rund 100 Meter lang, die Wände bestehen aus Stampflehm-Elementen. Die Halle ruht jedoch auf Stahlträgern, und nicht auf den Wänden. Dennoch gilt sie als eines der größten Lehm-Gebäude Europas. In diesem Gebäude werden die angelieferten Kräuter gelagert und vorbereitet.
English: The herb center of Ricola, in Laufen BL. It is 8 meters tall and about 100 meters long. The walls consist of rammed loam, but the roof rests on a steel frame. Nonetheless, the herb center ranks among the largest buildings of Europe that are constructed of loam. In this building, the herbs are stored and prepared.
