Deutsch: Wandfresko in der alten Pfarrkirche St. Cyriakus in Niedermendig. Ein Kreuzritter verfolgt in vollem Galopp mit eingelegter Lanze, das Schwert an der Seite, zwei feindliche Reiter. Beide tragen eine Phrygische Mütze. Einer zielt mit seinem Reflexbogen auf den Ritter.
English: Wall fresco in the old parish church of St. Cyriakus in Niedermendig. A crusader pursues two enemy horsemen at full gallop with lance inserted, sword at his side. Both are wearing a Phrygian cap. One is aiming at the knight with his reflex bow.
Nederlands: Muurfresco in de oude parochiekerk van St. Cyriakus in Niedermendig. Een kruisvaarder achtervolgt twee vijandelijke ruiters in volle galop met gestoken lans en zwaard aan zijn zijde. Beiden dragen een Frygische kap. De ene richt zich op de ridder met zijn reflexboog. |
