Description

Founded as The Kuala Lumpur Memorial Library in 1989, it is currently housed in a brand new building with better service and utilising the latest technology, the Kuala Lumpur Library is capable of meeting the research and information finding needs of the city better than ever before.

The library structure includes a mini auditorium, conference hall, multi purpose hall, training rooms, 2 display galleries, internet conectivity, reading materials, printed and digital reference materials that all combine to give the advantage of providing access to varied sources of information using the lestest technology in one place.


Kuala Lumpur Library is strategically located in the city centre. Just next to the former Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur building and the Kuala Lumpur History Museum . It’s also just a short walk away from the Royal Selangor Club, Dataran Merdeka and Plaza Putra.
