Находился в собрании Василия Петровича Кочубея (1868-1940 гг.), затем - в коллекции Сергея Платоновича Оболенского и Авы-Элис-Мюриэль Астор, по наследству перешёл к Ивану Сергеевичу Оболенскому (1925 - 2019 гг.). Был выставлен на продажу на аукционе Christie's в 2014 г.
