Deutsch: Vorderseite: Zwei Silphionfrüchte, dazwischen eine Knospe (?).

Rückseite: Flachvertieftes Quadrat, in jeder Ecke eine Kugel. Im Incusum Silphionfrucht mit Kugel in der Mitte oben.

Kommentar: Vorder- und Rückseite dieser Münze zeigen die Frucht der Silphionpflanze, welche im Altertum an der libyschen Küste, also im Prägegebiet der vorliegenden Münzen, wuchs. Die Milch der Silphionstaude galt in der Antike als vielseitig einsetzbares Heilmittel. Zusätzlich wurde die Pflanze als hochwertiges Mastfutter in der Viehzucht verwendet, wodurch wahrscheinlich ihr Aussterben noch in der Antike zu erklären ist.
