Description
Deutsch: Kopie der Kursächsischen Distanzsäule vom Zittauer Tor in Löbau, jetzt Theaterplatz / Innere Zittauer Straße
  • Bez. 1725, aus Sandstein; Obelisk auf Sockel, mit Wappenstück sowie „AR“- Monogramm und Posthornzeichen.
  • Stand ursprünglich am Zittauer Tor, wurde um 1820 jedoch abgerissen.
  • 1945 wurde die Säule bei einem Unfall zerstört. Einige Bruchstücke wurden im Stadtmuseum eingelagert.
  • Die heute am Theaterplatz stehende Kopie wurde 1993 hergestellt, woran die Anordnung der Inschriften und das Wappen falsch sind.
