Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A closeup of a common laboratory nest setting for Temnothorax rugatulus. Two glass slides sandwich a balsa wood cutout. The ants nest within the cutout and can exit through a small slit (seen at the bottom). The off-white splotches are the brood. The queens can be distinguished by their larger sizes.
