Description
Français : Dévoilé en 1977, le Niva reste probablement le plus grand succès de l'industrie soviétique à l'export, toutes branches confondues, surtout en Occident.

Une conception rustique, sa compacité alliées à d'impressionnantes capacités de franchissement, et bien sûr son faible coût d'achat/budget entretien pour un véhicule de ce type, en sont les raisons.

La Lada passe-partout connait son heure de gloire entre 1987 et 93, lorsque Eurotunnel la choisit comme véhicule de liaison sur le chantier de la future liaison Transmanche. Bourbier surtout considéré comme l'ouvrage de génie civil majeur du dernier quart de 20e s. Tous les exemplaires utilisés, qui ont donc roulé sous la mer, ont été revendus en état de fonctionnement à l'issue des travaux...
