Description
English: this needle dam is used to regulate the water level of Lake Ohrid in Macedonia. Compared to other needle dams it is very primitve without any security measures for operating personnel. It is simple constructed on basis of a regular bridge which is open to public. The photo shows the view from the upper (lake) side.
Deutsch: dieses Nadelwehr reguliert den Wasserpegel des Ohridsee in Mazedonien am Ausfluss in Struga. Verglichen mit anderen Nadelwehren ist die Konstruktion vergleichsweise einfach und ohne Sicherheitsmaßnahmen für das Bendienpersonal aufgebaut. Die einfache Konstruktion beruht auf einer normalen Betonbrücke die für den öffentlichen Verkehr freigegeben ist. Dieses Foto zeigt die Oberseite des Wehres, also die Seeseite.
