Description
Nederlands: Nog 51 weken aftellen en dan is het zover. Den Haag wordt overspoeld door 550 (oud-)militairen - die in hun diensttijd lichamelijk of geestelijk gewond zijn geraakt - zo’n 1.000 familieleden en vrienden, plus nog eens een dikke 1.000 vrijwilligers. Jonge vader Prins Harry gaf vorige week de aftrap voor de 5e editie van de Invictus Games, die van 9 tot 16 mei 2020 op en rond het Zuiderpark plaats hebben. “We hebben Nederland niet alleen gekozen omdat oranje mijn favoriete kleur is, maar omdat jullie er vast een groot feest van gaan maken”, aldus de hertog van Sussex.
