Description
Deutsch: Das 1791 erstmals als "Merkurtempel" erwähnte Bauwerk entstand nach 1784 und ist damit das jüngste des Schwetzinger Schlossgartens. Der Architekt Nicolas de Pigage plante den an ein Grabmal erinnernden Tempel bereits als Ruine, um an die irdische Vergänglichkeit zu mahnen.
