Deutsch: Reiterprozession zu Ehren der Heilig-Blut-Reliquie
Jährlich am zweiten Freitag im Juli findet in Bad Wurzach das traditionsreiche Heilig-Blutfest, auch "Blutfreitag" genannt, mit ca. 1.500 Reitern und mehr als 5.000 Wallfahrern und Besuchern statt. Der Bad Wurzacher Blutritt ist damit eine der größten Reiterprozessionen zu Ehren des Heiligen Blutes Christi in Europa. Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung steht die Verehrung einer Heilig-Blut-Reliquie. Das blutgetränkte Tuchstück wird während der Prozession durch die Stadt und durch die Flure und Felder in einem vergoldeten Reliquiar mitgeführt.
