Summary[edit]

Das Kopfteil einer Statue zeigt einen Mann mit für Ägypten untypischer Bart- und Haartracht und einem Kranz, siehe Vorderseite. Es handelt sich um einen hohen Beamten oder einen Priester, der auf dem Rückenpfeiler in altägyptischer Manier kahlköpfig, ohne Bart und mit traditionellem Gewand vor Horus und Sachmet dargestellt wird. Diese Vermischung von griechischen und ägyptischen Elementen ist ein bemerkenswertes Zeugnis des kulturellen Austauschprozesses am Nil.
