Summary
[edit]DescriptionLandhuis Groot Davelaar.png |
English: Former plantation house Groot Davelaar, built around 1874 for Juan R. Blanch and designed by Antoine Martis, supervisor and director of the construction department.
The former plantation house is located on flat land east of the Schottegat. The unique former plantation house consists of a main building and an attached cistern that was added in 1906. The building has a octagonal core surrounded by two galleries. A narrow transverse structure, longer than the cross-section of the main mass, intersects it in the fourth and sixth planes.
