Deutsch: Langeoog - russische Kriegsgefangenengrabstätte, Text der Infotafel: Hier wird der 113 Angehörigen der roten Armee gedacht, die während des Zweiten Weltkrieges als Kriegsgefangene nach Langeoog gebracht und zur Arbeit auf dem ehemaligen Fliegerhorstnder Luftwaffe herangezogen wurden. Die Soldaten sind hier ums Leben gekommen und ihre Leichen, vergraben am Rande des Dünenfriedhofes, sind später von der Gemeinde umgebettet worden. Zu ihren Ehren hat man nach dem Krieg diese Gedenkstätte errichtet. Hierzu stellte 1953 der Volksbund Deutscher
Kriegsgräberfürsorge sechs Sandsteinstelen mit den Namen und den Todesdaten der Soldaten auf. Baron von Schilling sorgte für eine Einfriedung und Abgrenzung dieses Friedhofteils zu den Dünen hin. Er ließ Büsche und Bäume anpflanzen und durchbrach den früher bestehenden Wall zum Friedhof der Langeooger Verstorbenen. Damit wurde der Russenfriedhof integrierter Bestandteil der Gesamtanlage und bekam sein heutiges würdiges Aussehen.
