Description
Español: Las columnas de Torrevieja es un símbolo de la cultura mediterránea, es el único monumento que sobrevivió al violento terremoto de 1829. El terremoto de Torrevieja de 1829 fue un violento movimiento sísmico que tuvo lugar en distintas localidades de la provincia de Alicante, España, el 21 de marzo de 1829 y, aunque la ciudad más afectada fue Almoradí, es conocido como terremoto de Torrevieja por ser esta localidad la mayor de las que sufrieron sus efectos.
