DescriptionLast Address Sign - Saint Petersburg, Tchaikovsky Street, 63 (2018-12-02) 25.jpg	English: The Last Address Sign is a commemorative plaque that is installed on the last known residential address of victims of the Soviet Union's Communist regime. The memorial sign is a small, 11x19 cm stainless steel plaque that contains information about the repressed person. This information usually contains his or her name, profession, date of birth, date of arrest, date and reason of death (was shot or died in a Soviet concentration camp), and date of rehabilitation ('for lack of corpus delicti'). Русский: Мемориальный знак «Последний адрес» представляет собой пластину из нержавеющей стали размером 11 на 19 см, на которую наносятся сведения о репрессированном при советской власти человеке: его имя, профессия, а также даты рождения, ареста, дата и причина гибели (расстрелян или умер в лагере) и дата реабилитации («За отсутствием состава преступления»). "Последний адрес" Петра Иосифовича Высоцкого.

Петр Иосифович Высоцкий родился в 1898 году в деревне Гребни Опочецкого уезда Псковской губернии в польской семье.

В момент ареста он работал экономистом-плановиком Ленснабосоавиахима. Скорее всего, Петр Иосифович стал жертвой так называемой «польской национальной операции», проводимой в 1937 году органами НКВД.

Высоцкий был арестован 28 октября 1937 года, а уже 22 ноября он был приговорен к смерти за «шпионаж» и «причинение ущерба системе транспорта». 29 ноября, через месяц после ареста, Петр Иосифович Высоцкий был расстрелян. Ему было 39 лет.

Его жену и дочерей выслали из Ленинграда в Кировскую область в город Налинск.

В 1958 году дело Петра Иосифовича Высоцкого было пересмотрено, он был полностью реабилитирован. Тогда же семье выдали и первое, фальшивое свидетельство о смерти, где были указаны ложные даты и причина смерти – 1943 год и «рак пищевода». Правда вскрылась лишь в 1990-е годы.
