Lotito with a knighthood - May 25, 1963 - The decoration came from Vittorio Pugliese, Italian Undersecretary of Defense-Aeronautics in recognition of his meteorological studies in coordinating the transfer of airline operations to the new Fiumicino airport and Italy's transition to the jet age.
