« C'est un calvaire monumental comme on en construisit plusieurs en Morbihan au 19e siècle. L'ornementation est simple et le programme figuratif réduit à sa plus simple expression, comme il est d'usage à l´époque. L'édifice aspecté au sud, adopte un plan symétrique en T, avec trois larges escaliers à 12 degrés chacun, l'un dans l'axe de la composition les deux autres relégués latéralement. Sa plate-forme est cantonnée de quatre pilastres supportant chacun un pinacle. Au centre la croix monumentale et son socle reposent sur un soubassement en forme d'autel galbé. Une inscription y est gravée rappelant la donnation en 1832. La croix monolithe est de section polygonale. Sur son fût figurent des coeurs et des gouttes sculptés. Les branches sont terminées par une boule. Les sculptures figuratives ne sont pas d´une grande qualité. L'ensemble est entièrement réalisé en pierre de taille. »
