Description
Français : Caricature de L. Petit sous le titre "Les bonnes gens de province" et le sous-titre "Le portrait du notaire", assortie du commentaire suivant : "Me Corbinet, notaire à Guipavas, fait faire son portrait. Tante Ursule aurait voulu qu'il fût représenté la plume à la main, signant et parafant (sic) un contrat. Mme Corbinet eût préféré le voir ceint de son écharpe d'adjoint au maire. Lui eût l'idée de poser en chasseur, son chien entre les jambes ; çà vous donne quelque chose de plus crâne. La famille entière, y compris la servante et les deux clercs, assiste à la perpétuation du chef-d'oeuvre. C'est une grosse dépense (trente francs, pensez-donc !), mais on aura un portrait à l'huile."
