Description

Le sanctuaire shinto Fushimi Inari-Taisha, au sud de Kyoto, est le sanctuaire principal de tous ceux consacrés au kami Inari au Japon. Il a été créé en 711. Le kami Inari (déesse du riz) est censé apporter des récoltes abondantes, la prospérité des affaires mais aussi d'une manière générale la sécurité des familles. Le sanctuaire est célèbre pour son chemin passant sous des milliers de Torii qui permet de parcourir la montagne sacrée et de revenir à son point de départ. Chaque Torii est financé par des hommes d'affaires, des sociétés ou des grands groupes qui inscrivent leur nom sur les poteaux.
