Français : Le village d'Accons. Une pancarte indique : Accons est situé au pied du Serre en Don culminant à 1200 m d'altitude.
Cette montagne domine toute la région de sa silhouette massive. Du sommet, la vue est splendide sur les Boutières et la chaîne des Alpes. Accons s'appelait primitivement Contius, nom Romain d'un propriétaire étable en ce lieu. La préposition latine "A" signifie "du côté de", "vers". Plus tard, par suite d'une agglutination de "A" au Moyen Âge, on a écrit Accontis puis finalement Accons. Accons appartenait à ma seigneurerie de Brion au XVème siècle, puis aux La Motte Brion au XVIIIème. |
