Description
English: Exterior of Leangkollen Hotel in Asker, Norway. Main entrance, parked cars, apple trees (orchard), old snow, spring, sun, back light, blue sky, morning light, etc.

The conference hotel was originally drawn by architect Wilhelm K. Essendrop in 1941 and built as a log cabin/house residence for Vidkun Quisling, leader of Norwegian fascist party Nasjonal Samling before and under World War 2. Sold/given to Norwegian Seafarers' Union ("Norsk Sjømannsforbund") in 1947.
