Description
English: The construction was started by Julius Caesar and continued later by Augustus. It was the biggest pagan temple dedicated to Jupiter in all the Roman empire. The Propylaea completed in the mid-3rd century A. D. The Baalbek temple complex. UNESCO World Heritage site. Heliopolis, Baalbek, Beqaa Valley, Lebanon.
