Lee's Pier was a major loading dock for steamships at Port Maria during the 1910s for the Banana trade. The 100ft pier could host 7 boats at once. It was part of Lee's Wharf, owned by the Goffe family. Before that Lee's Wharf was a tran-shipment warehouse for slaves on the sugar plantations, with a auction pit.
