| Description |
English: Mid-1970s view of Lee's Chevron, a gas station, and behind it the Steese Market, a convenience store. They were located at the corner of College Road and the (today's Old) Steese Highway, which at the time was the junction of Alaska Route 2 and Alaska Route 3. Both buildings were demolished about a decade after this photo was taken to make way for the Cornerstone Mall, one of a number of strip malls built to complement the Bentley Mall. |
