Summary
[edit]DescriptionLeeds dodo (15a).JPG | The Leeds dodo (Raphus cucullatus), a partial and composite skeleton mounted by taxidermist James Dickinson circa 2008. There is no complete dodo in existence, so it is made up of bones of several partial original skeletons, plus three resin sections cast from original bones by Dickinson. The cast sections are the upper mandible, the breast bone and the pelvis. The mount is permanently displayed in a glass case in Leeds City Museum, Leeds, North Yorkshire, England. | ||
