English: Ground floor and 1st floor of the semi-detached house Leipziger Str. 31-32. The building was projected in 1881/82 by August Orth and almost completely demolished in 1894, then rebuilt. In 1889, the house was owned by a Mrs Meyer. The following shops and companies were located here in 1889: wine taverns Zur Stadt Athen (to the city of Athens) and Menzer Weingroßhandlung (wine wholesaler), cloth shop Gebrüder Maass & Co from Cottbus, shoe shop Levy Wollner aus Wien, silk goods shop Julius Michaelis, leather goods shop Alex Schulz, rubber goods factory A. Sachs, passementerie factory Przygode and flour store Mehlhandlung Müller.
Deutsch: Parterre und 1. Obergeschoss des Doppelhauses Leipziger Str. 31–32. Das Gebäude wurde 1881/82 durch August Orth errichtet und 1894 fast vollständig abgerissen, anschließend neu gebaut. 1889 ist das Haus Eigentum einer Frau Meyer. Folgende Geschäfte und Firmen befinden sich hier: Weinstuben Zur Stadt Athen und Menzer Weingroßhandlung, Tuchhandlung Gebrüder Maass & Co aus Cottbus, Schuhwarenhandlung Levy Wollner aus Wien, Seidenwarenhandlung Julius Michaelis, Lederwarenhandlung Alex Schulz, Gummiwarenfabrik A.
