The voice of silence. The little book that prompted me to buy this too was published in the first Italian version by G.G.Porro and E.Vannelli from the annotated English translation by H.P.B. A now very rare and almost unobtainable 76-page booklet published in Milan in 1909 by Dr.G.Sulli Rao's Ars Regia Libreria Editrice. On the first page, it bears the Latin inscription Non Ex Tingetur and below: "For the daily use of the lanu (disciples)". The booklet in question was memorized by HPB while she was living in a Tibetan lamaist monastery (its original publication dates from 1889). It is 100% the easiest to remember and the closest approach of H.P.B's works to the thought of Tibetan Buddhism.
