Čeština: Profesor Ing. Dr. Leopold Šrámek (* 11. května 1882 Vrbátky v okrese Prostějov v Olomouckém kraji – 24. října 1942 koncentrační tábor Mauthausen) byl bývalým děkanem Českého vysokého učení technického. Za Protektorátu Čechy a Morava patřil k nejbližším spolupracovníkům a podporovatelům parašutistů z Velké Británie. Leopold Šrámek byl zatčen 21. června 1942, byl vězněn na Pankráci a v Malé pevnosti Terezín, odkud byl deportován do koncentračního tábora Mauthausen. V Mauthausenu byl zastřelen 24. října 1942 v 14.24 hodin.
English: Professor Ing. Dr. Leopold Šrámek (* 11 May 1882 in Vrbátky - 24 October 1942 in Mauthausen concentration camp) was a former dean of the Czech Technical University. During the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia he was one of the closest collaborators and supporters of the paratroopers from Great Britain. Leopold Šrámek was arrested on 21 June 1942, imprisoned at Pankrác and in the Small Fortress of Terezín, from where he was deported to the Mauthausen concentration camp. He was shot in Mauthausen on 24 October 1942 at 2.24 pm. |
